Whatever the reason you have for using a unlicensed version of our copyrighted product, the fact remains that you/your company have to purchase the license from us, even if you got it in good faith from a development company for example. Later down the track we highly advice you seek compensation from your external developer or agency. Please do not ask us to contact your development company: since you have a service level agreement with them, this case will presumably come to a faster and better resolution if it’s coming directly from you.
While legal action is not our first choice, we are prepared to pursue it, if necessary. Our lawyers and our social media manager will work to resolve this matter.
We realize that this can appear harsh. Many have not been aware that they are using a pirated version. Regardless of your reasons for using a pirated copy, I assume that you want this matter resolved quickly. In the next few days I expect to see that you have purchased the Additional Unlicensed Extension License(s), so we can provide you and your customers with the quality product and service you deserve. After the purchase is made we will remove you from our record of companies who uses an illegal and invalid Magextensions license.
